Subject: Welcome to the Humidity Festival

The Cambrian team was thrilled to be part of the International Humidity Festival this morning. We won first, second, and third places only because there were only three people left standing at the end of the festivities. In the middle of the celebration, the compressor suffered some problems, so our logistics were changed a bit. During the interim Renee drove Karl to Tulum to the farmacia (pharmacy) to get him something for his symptoms. No one there spoke any English, but the nice lady gave us something with Coca in it, and she indicated it would do the trick. Once Karl was back safely, the tanks were filled and analyzed, and we departed for the site at 11:00am.

Subject: Chasing Leads

A rooster woke up early at 5:30am thus did part of the team. Early PT and breakfast started us out right. We Then proceeded downstairs to analyze our tanks and fill out the expedition log sheet. We departed Villas DeRosa at 9am sharp and headed for the dive site. Don Raphael was very happy to see us again and sent us on our way rejoicing to the cave.

Subject: Touchdown!!!

We woke up early to start another busy day in Akumal. There was quite a bit to do this morning including PT, mixing gas for the dives and insuring the teams were aware and confident in their objectives. Today followed the same format as yesterday with one dry team and one diving team.

Subject: Tune Up Day

The morning started off rather unfortunately when Terrence attempted to whip up one of his more daring breakfast creations a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Once the flames had been doused and the smoldering remnants of the jar were disposed of, the sandwich was made and the day got underway.
